Journal Entry 7?

SO much has been happening today Lord! Praise your name! Liz got sick after lunch. I prayed with her through the wall of the bathroom. She went back to the hotel while we went back to the school for more meetings.
When we got to the school for the second time, I was really feeling sick. I had a horrible smell in my noise and was feeling like I was going to throw up. Later on Bruno asked us to move to the side b/c of the paint fumes. Some guys had been painting the outside of the school and that is what was making me so sick!
We did the second meeting and then we had about two hours until the next one. We went to the wonderful pastors house, where there was the best food. Pineapple cake, Guarana with Guava, and the best bread with cheese!
We were asked to be in a film that had already had the Redeemer Skit on it. A man from the local church had filmed us and wanted to show everything to his church. We had introduced ourselves, by giving our names, age, and occupations. Mike went on the talk about what we were doing in Brazil and how much we care about Bruno and Camilla.
During the bus ride we had a lovely and quiet prayer time. Bruno said that he had to talk to the team. He said that when we got the hotel, him and Camilla had to talk to us. So, we went into where we ate breakfast and waited. All I could think about it when Mike had told us stories about doing mission trips with a bunch of teenagers. He said that he would ask one of the unruly teenagers for breakfast or to meet him without others to talk. All I could think about is that we had hurt the pastor’s feelings or had been ungrateful in some way. When Bruno left the room for one second time, Mike said, I think I know what they are going to say. I think that they are going to say that Elizabeth, (Liz) is really sick and they had to take her to the hospital. They are going to say that we aren’t going to Rio. Well, Bruno came back and told us that we needed to move and meet on the top floor of the hotel. It was a meeting room and a small pool. He said that Camilla would meet us up there. As we got off the elevator, the lights were off. Camilla, Hadassah and everyone else jumped out and said that we were having a party!! Hadassah said that Liz was fine, and just had a little headache. We were so relieved that she wasn’t as sick and we had thought that she was. Liz came up after a while. The party contained us dressing up in crazy hats, ties, and headbands. We danced to music and Camilla had gotten us a buffet of Brazilian food. The best deserts also. Of course there was Guarana, which was already my favorite drink! We danced and had so much fun! That is something that was caught on video!

More pictures are definately to come!
